I'm looking for input on the correct setup of the chipper. I had a problem the first time I used my new chipper and need advice so it doesn't happen again. After assembly and going through and checking and tightening bolts and setscrews and setting blade clearance I fired it up for the first time. After about 30 minutes of chipping some small stuff (2"-3") it started making a noise. So I shut everything down, I discovered that the cutter wheel/flywheel shaft had slipped toward the rear of the chipper and the blades where scrapping the back plate of the chamber. After hours spent removing a sheared setscrew from the rear flywheel bearing, I ordered a new bearing. After removing the bearings from the shaft, I see that there are two recesses in the shaft at each bearing, I was assuming that since each bearing collar had two setscrews they should align and this is what locks the shaft in position and prevents any end play. After installing the new bearing I discovered that both setscrews could NOT be aligned over the recesses and that only one setscrew could be set in the recess. That being the case, I aligned one setscrew over the recess and rotated the bearing collar to where the other setscrew was over a solid area of the shaft. I also checked the lower PTO shaft bearings and confirmed that they are the same, with only one setscrew locking into the recess. Can anyone confirm that this is the correct and that it's not that the shaft was drilled incorrectly? Also, I'm confused about the clearance between the blade and the cutter bar. One place shows 0.01-0.03mm, another calls for 0.10-.030 inches. Both of these seem to be very tight/close setting as this allows for no movement or play of the flywheel. While setting the clearance I've also discovered that one blade is a little closer than the other. With one blade set at 0.20, the other is closer to 0.40. I have gotten everything back together and have run the chipped at less than the 540 RPM for a few minutes, but haven't chipped anything yet. Hoping someone with experience with this chipper can confirm that I have this thing setup correctly and/or suggest any changes that I should make. Thanks.

Try searching for Jinma on the board.
Since you put it all in one paragraph I'll let others parse what you need.

But I have a Jinma from Ranch Hand Supply and he had good set up instructions.
