I found this tree puller that will be auctioned in a couple weeks. There are three of them. Anyway, the description says it has a skid steer quick attach. Would this hook up to my quick attach on the tractor without a bunch of fiddling around? Showing my inexperience with this stuff again. image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg

If you have the skid steer style QA it should be as easy as disconnecting your bucket and latching the puller in its place.

Your profile lists a grapple so you'll power the pullers cylinder the same way as the grapple lid. The puller looks to have flat hydraulic couplers so if that what you have you'd be good to go.

Posting a picture of your quick attach on the FEL will make it easier to determine if it will fit ok!

Ritchie Brothers must have a slew of those Wildkat tree & post pullers. I noticed that there are two available
for the Ritchie Brothers auction on April 21 here at their Manchester NH facility . I'll have to run up and take
a look. That would be a handy attachment to have. Do you know how much it weighs? No weight info on
the Wildkat web site. I see that they list for $899.00 on their web site.

Good luck if you bid on one!

Trails End,

I was not able to find the weight either. With the slow down in the oil and natural gas industries in our area, I suspect there will be loads of equipment on the block over the coming months.

I looked at this manufacturer and Titan. Overall I like the design of the Titan better. The Titan has 1" steel in the clamp jaws vs 1/2" and the angle of the hydraulic cylinder is better. This one looks like it would only turn a small portion of cylinder force into clamping force. Most of the pressure will be put towards trying to rip the jaw away from the quick attach plate. I compare these two since they are about the same price. If you get it for a bargain then the comparison needs to factor price into the equation. My $0.02

If you don't have flat face QD's on your tractor it's easy the change out the QD's on the tree puller.

I just bought one from SkidPro in Minnesota and it's really handy and sturdy. Mine has a guard around cylinder for protection.

I used it to pull a bunch of cedar post that were part of old fence around a cattle guard. Took just a few minutes to yank out 10 posts.

That one looks sturdy, I like the guard on the cylinder. Just curious on price, they don't list it on the website. I bet you can pull some big stuff with the New Holland that's in the background.

It was about $1400 shipping included. I looked at lighter models but, wanted a tree puller that I could use with both 46HP and 96HP tractors.
