I'm the proud new owner of a 12 foot pull behind Poplarville harrow with 24" discs.

I towed it almost 40 miles home on ancient dry rotted retreads and I was relieved when I made it.

This thing is heavy duty but it needs a little attention after sitting up for many years.

It needs new hydraulic hoses, front discs, and tires. I'll also replace the bearing when I tear it down .

It's been stored under a pole barn so it's not as bad as it would be if it had been exposed to the elements all these years.

Does anybody know if there are any replacement parts available from another manufacturer because Poplarville MFG is long gone.

I think you'll find no need to have brand specific parts. If replacing a bearing for example, have the old one in your hand when you go to any parts supplier. I bought the gang bearings for my disc at O'Reilly's. I don't even know what brand my disc is.

We used to have a place called Bearings Inc and you could get any bearing there is. Now all gone.

There's probably something similar on the Net now if we just knew where to look. With my disc bearings they didn't have a number. O'Reilly's measured them and pulled them off the shelf. They even called them disc bearings. Could buy them with or without the 3 bolt holder plates.
