I called a dealer who had an add in the paper that said he was selling new 3 point snow blowers at a discount. He said he has 3 agri trend 5 foot machines and would sell one for $1,450. Does anyone have one of these makes? Is it a quality atachment? I cant find them on the web. Maybee parts would be an issue? Is that a good price? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Hello kubotachief,

I have a C-60 Agri-Trend 60" Rear Mounted Snowblower. I got it new with my Kubota L3430 last year. It did great in the 3' of Michigan snow we had this winter! I was very popular with friends who had plugged driveways.

It held up very well. I did back it into a large rock that I forgot about and bent a corner into the auger. Had to really heat it up and beat on it with a sledge as it was was tough to rebend. Works fine now and that was my error! Try to remember where everything is under the snow. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I paid $1500.00 new and got it financed with by Kubota Credit with the tractor. I think my dealer knocked some off retail as I bought quite a lot of equipment. $1450 sounds pretty good, maybe you can get it lower as it is the off season.

I've got a 5' Meteor snowblower - which is the Agro-Trend brand here in Canada - Works fine - never had a problem with it other than self-inflicted shear pin replacement.

There were other models available to me, some much heavier than the Meteor, but so far have no complaints with it. I can't recall exactly what I paid for it, but I don't think it was more than $1500 CDN, so your price doesn't sound like a steal.

Having a gravel driveway, the first thing I did when I got it was weld some wider "ski's" on the bottom to keep it from digging in. Considered making up adjustable skid shoes, but just welded them on and haven't regretted it.

I bought my 78" agrotrend 5 years ago. It's a fantastic blower. Very heavy and well built. My driveway is 800' long and we average 60" of snow a year, with a 30" storm every few years. I've never even broken a shear pin. The product is near bullet proof. Mine has cat 1 and cat 2 pins.

I have a 60" Agrotrend on a Kubota BX2350. I haven't used it yet, but it looks like a good product. Will know more after a NH winter. Was thinking about getting an electric or hydraulic chute rotator set up on it. Any ideas out there?
