I have my reservations on these flail mowers in only because there is little to no welding done on them
to increase and maintain the frame strength surrounding the flail mower shroud.

There are 50 plus year old welded frame flail mowers still mowing so that tells you something about their build quality..

I guess if money is a concern for you its your money. Me; I have a 35 year old flail mower that is still mowing and very well built.

Has anyone bought or used victory implements? I have been searching around on the Internet and found 2 companies that sell Chinese made flail mowers for very affordable prices. Betst

and etractor implements.

I know there are some on here who have had good luck with the betst fhm flail mowers. Anyone used victory implements?

I know who supply flail mower to value leader, also I know who supply flail mower to Victory, because I source it for victory, the only reason why I choose that factory is that I think Victory's supplier is better than value-leader's, sorry, I cannot tell you which factory produce it, I m worried if moderators of TBN will kick me out. You can trust me, since I often visited these factories. IMG_5042.JPG

Hi Leonz, you are right, there are so many difference between Chinese mowers, steel material quality level, welding skill, spare parts quality(gear box, bearing, hammer, belt etc), worker skill, etc.

I saw many foreign brand mowers, most of them are so good and so impressive. I have a deep feeling that China industry fall so behind from them.

Anyway, people will get what they paid, but it doesn't mean people cannot spend less money to get better products. Just be careful, and think about what you need and choose what you want.

Foreign importers always ask for cheaper price to expand profit, then Chinese companies always say yes to them, to catch orders to survive in China, so Chinese companies has many ways to save cost which is difficult for importer to know, then Chinese products reputation become worse on market.

It sounds cruel, really. That's business. I saw many Chinese industry fall in this way. So I source for Victory and I would like to change something include my life.

Hello Jack Yuan,

I have a mower that looks the same as the value leader that I bought at an auction. Even the model number is called EFGCH-155. The brand plate says Town-Sunny. Do you know if this is the same mower?

It is equipped with hammer blades and has been good so far.

Town-sunny is one of the factories here, value leader bought from some different factories here. If you can send me the photos of gear box brand, belt brand, hammer end(point to identify it if casting steel or forging steel), welding condition, then I can tell you more details about it.

Did you get a victory verge flail? I'm strongly considering one at the moment.

How about Victory Rotary Tillers? Anyone update on the general quality of Victory?, availability of parts? Specifically the rotary tillers?

I am considering either the Victory Heavy Duty Verge Flail or the Betstco/Value Leader Heavy Duty Verge Flail. Here are the pros and cons, please chime in:

- The Betstco/Value Leader weighs in at 350lbs heavier and claims to be able to cut 4" material. It has an openable rear deck if you dont need fine mulching. Appears to be a beastly machine, 1660lbs!
61″ Gold Ditch Bank Flail Mower, VL-AGFN16 | Betstco

- The Victory is around $700 cheaper. From what they say it can cut up to 2-1/2" material.

What I can't figure out is if the Betstco is really that much better, to the extent that it really can cut 4" material? What would allow it to cut that size material if the other one cannot?

Has anyone seen the actual quality of the welds on either of these brands, the hydraulics, the fit and finish and general quality of the products? It is hard to compare these two when I cannot see them in person.

I have a Branson 5220 with FEL and loaded tires. 55hp Engine, 47HP PTO, probably weighs around 6000lbs accounting for FEL and Loaded Tires. I plan to cut heavy brush and saplings to maintain roads 70% of the time, otherwise regular field mowing.

I know this thread is a little old but the issues are still relevant so I’m going to pick it up to see if we can get any Victory and Bestt owners to weigh in on their mowers. Thanks to Jack Yuan for his informative posts, I hope all is well for you and others here in these uncertain times.
Now to my needs, I have a ‘72 Oliver 1365 (4wd) with weights and FEL. I’m selling the Ford 907 flail mower that I used for the last 16 years so can purchase a mower more suited to cutting the brush at the edge of the woods that is trying to take the fields by stealth.
I’ve looked at both the Bestt and Victory websites and feel limited in my ability to make a decision based on their photography and general descriptions. For example, will standard duty be good for the long run, like my 70 year old 907? While I’ve replaced the rear roller bearings and top bearing, the main rotor bearings and gearbox look to be original. The guys or gals who own these things could certainly shed some light here. Also a little openness from the middlemen would help. Not sure what form that would take.
