Farmall sickle bar mower

My brother was cutting hay with my Dads old Farmall super A. It has the factory sickle bar mower with a 7 ft bar. While mowing the cutter bar broke in half. I welded it but doubt it will hold. Does anyone know of a source for a new cutter bar for this farmall mower?

Thanks for the link. A Case/IH dealer about 2 hours away thinks they have a new cutter bar. Will drive tomorrow. I did not realize they would still stock parts for such old iron.

I have cut many acres with an A and a sickle bar mower. If you can't find one you might get lucky on craigs list. I see them there from time to time. Ed

The cutter bar on my Massey Ferguson 31 sicklebar was severely bent on the outboard end and had to be replaced.
I found the correct size steel bar at my supplier and just bit the bullet and drilled the hole pattern myself. Took a few hours of work on the drill press. No big deal.
