So I bought a Bush hog the other day that's been sitting forever. One of the things I need to replace is the PTO shield. After a bit of research it seems it came with a #4 Binacchi driveline, Bush hog part #90012BH for the shield assembly. Problem is, it's about $90. Will any generic #4 shield work? Are the bearings brand specific? Does anyone have a favorite online store for stuff like this? I've checked Agristore, but they are out there. Thanks for any help.

This is a great question as I'm in a similar situation with a sq72. Did you ever make anything work?
Thanks!

No, I ended up selling it as is.

Yes - the entire two part PTO shields are NOT cheap. If you saw what it takes to mold them - you would understand why. Very little to do with the cost of the plastic - a whole lot to do with the cost of the molds and molding machinery.

Thanks, but by the time I saw your post I had already ordered one. Do you have an online Link for the shield in your post (for the next person who needs one)?
