In the past month I have been lucking out with online auctions and craigs list . In the past month I have picked up a JD 8B backhoe attachment , a vibratory roller (like new) , a 5 ft JD rototiller , a 3 point blade , a post hole digger with 4 augers , a lawn roller (new) an aerator ( cheesy but new) got all these for 2 grand . I had to drive 2 hours to virginia . Then today I ran 2 hours up I 95 to deleware to pick up an Olathe 3 point debris blower in real good shape for $ 275 . Plus about $ 50 in tolls and gas . The guy with the blower had it on a pallet and loaded it right up .

I am close to Wright Patterson Airforce base. Gov Deals Has gotten me a pick up truck with a head gasket leak. And a pressure washer with a bad engine. I quit at 1000 dollars to late.

I've had pretty good luck posting WTB ads on CL. Got my brush cutter and disc harrow that way for way less than you usually see them advertised used for. People selling that stuff have high expectations but people responding to want to buy ads just happen across your need and say "hey, I have one of those I'm not ever going to use". I had a flamer respond to one ad blasting me for expecting a like new piece of equipment for nothing. The ad actually read the equipment should not be rusted out and I would pay up to $300. I didn't bother to respond but laughed at the fact I got a lot better piece from the ad than expected for less than I offered to pay in the ad.
