I know that using my brother's 5 ft tiller on my B2620 is the only time I have to worry about tractor over heating-if I was to buy a tiller it would be a 48" model.

I'd disagree on HP not being an issue. You can just go slower with a mower, but that isn't quite the case with a tiller, especially with a non-HST machine. There is a minimum required HP to spin it. Also going to slow turns it to dust.

I think HP is a major concern with the less than 20 pto hp crowd. If the front end is light, hang some weights on it but if you don't have the HP then, at times, you have to stop moving forward to let the engine rpm's catch up.
