Hey everybody, I'm looking at buying a used Value leader brand TL125 72 inch rotary tiller from a guy on Craigslist. Just wondering if anyone on here has any experience with this brand of tiller and what are the pros and cons of it. I appreciate any feedback. Oh and the asking price is $800 and it appears to be in new condition. The newer model of this same tiller which is now called the value leader IGN180 is priced new at $1650. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

All I can say it is Chinese made and light weight and you 1/2 way to getting a good one. I still love my Ansung YJR074 and several advertisers carry them and there may be used ones around. Have you checked with you local Agg rental place. You may be surprised to find what they have, especially this time of year.
Hope this helps

Yea I'd prefer to get a nice landpride or woods tiller but with funds being tight the price on this unit is right and just wanted to hear some feed back on this brand/model of tiller to sway my decision.

I'd hold out for a used KK. Our local auction house often has the clones of that tiller with different paint, and the KK is 3X the tiller.

There's little information on Value Leader, but 1 or 2 posts of people who like their tillers and a few who like the mowers/etc. if you search:

Yea I suppose I'll probably hold out for a better tiller at this point. There just doesn't seem to be enough available information about these to make an informed decision and I'm not one to throw money in the wind and hope it works out. Thanks everybody for the feedback.

First question I ask on any piece of equipment is - What do I do if I need a part? With Bush Hog, Woods and some others parts are readily available at a brick and mortar store locally or on-line. Not sure how or where to get parts for some of these off-brand products. What good is a machine if one part goes bad and can't be replaced?

So after all the advice between two forums and a Facebook kubota page, I decided against getting the $800 value leader tiller but I did find a great deal on a used landpride RTA2562 tiller on Craigslist for $250 more than the value leader. Going to hopefully go pick it up this afternoon.
