Kubota b2400 SOLD. Now a Massey Ferguson 285
Does anybody know if they have a distributor in Canada? I wanted to order the cyber Monday special, ($149) from the TBN store, and they don't ship to Canada. I looked at a few other places and none of them had a similar price, and none except Pat's shipped to Canada. Shipping to Canada was $80, in addition to the price of the unit (almost $200). This brings it up a bit much for me given our dollar is not worth much right now. The cost would be over $400.

Princess Auto has a unit, but it does not appear to be as user friendly or nice as Pat's. I may have to anyway if nobody has a solution.

Thanks

I have a Pats Easy change I have never used. I am willing to make a deal - $100 plus shipping from California - if you are interested. I bought it in 2007??

OK, it is a Cat 1 - so make sure that is what you want. There is also a Cat 2 - you can check out the differences. I did not buy the optional stabilizer bar - since I never used the easy-change I can't say how desirable or necessary that is. After your post I went to my tractor file and see that I bought it in March of 2005. It came with a one page instruction sheet which I will send along if you go ahead and buy the easy-change. If necessary I can send you a picture. I assume I can find your email address here. I am glad someone may be able to get some use out of them - they have been sitting in the barn - I think in the original box. They are heavy! - well made - so I don't know how much it will be to ship them.

Where in Alberta are you? I have a box number and a FedEx account in Sweet Grass, Montana that you could use. Or if your not in a hurry I can bring them into Canada for you. PM me your phone number if your interested.

That's 'somewhat' what my Sister does. She lives in Wallaceburg in Southern Ontario and there is an "arrangement" regarding the ferry between Marine City, MI and Sombra, Ont. which many of the locals have registered for in order to get around the 'free delivery in the US' embuggerance.

The US delivery address is the ferry terminal on the US side, the ferry transports the packages to the Canadian side and drops it at a tiny office. The office is just on the other side of the Canadian Customs office. My Sister gets a call from the Ferry people that she has a parcel; she drives over and parks her car on the Canadian side of Customs, walks over to the wee office & signs for the package. Then she walks the package through Canada Customs (who usually just wave her through 'cause she's been seen going to the parcel office) and heads home.

It's a sweet system. Very adult IMHO.

I'm in the Edmonton area, so sadly not that easy a solution. Yes, it would be nice...

I'm in Edmonton right now till tomorrow noon. (Gas co-op convention) I'll be through again in mid December but that's pushing things to make it all happen. I know for sure I'll be going to Sweet Grass again in the new year. No immediate plans on coming back to Edmonton but you never know....
