Subject line pretty much says it all. I am considering buying one of these from my local dealer. The model is a 5500. Do any of you have experience with this brand in any of the models they have?

Bob, I have a Green EM5000 post hole digger I purchased directly from the company Green Mfg . I've only dug about 10 holes with it so far, but I've been very satisfied with it. Seems to be well made and very heavy duty. If I recall correctly, I paid about $600 for the digger, 12" auger and shipping.

Ok thanks, the local dealer just gave me a quote of 675 for the 5500 and the 14" auger. Plus tax of course.

As good as it gets for a small tractor. Top shelf.

I have the FM5500 with 9" auger and it works great. Bought it from Northern Tool for $565.00 delivered and comes filled with gear oil. Set it up and dig away. G

Bob,

See my recent post about the TSC digger in the JD O/O group. If you have a TSC near you, it'll save you a couple of hundred $$ I think it's the perfect size for the 2210.

I have just purchased a Green line EM5000 post hole digger. Can anyone tell me where or send me a copy of the owners manual? Thanks
