Today I had a Valby CH140HF delivered to work so I could unload it from the shipping company and load it into my pickup. I had no idea just how big these units are. At lunchtime I removed the two cutters and ground them on our surface grinder. I couldn't wait to get home after work, hook it up on my tractor and try it out. I'm glad I sold my tow behind chipper and bought this Valby. It works great just like I had read about them. The best part is not having to maintain another running piece of equipment. This chipper is so simple to remove the blades to sharpen them. The color was spot on orange for my Kioti. Hopefully I can have some fun with this over the weekend.

The Valby is supposed to be one of the best - at least, they are certainly one of the more expensive from my research on the internet. I looked at Valby when I was considering a bigger chipper. Only problem - closest dealer was over in Montana.

I know what you mean on "size". I have a somewhat similar Morbark Busy Beaver 125. I don't know the weight, but one has to be a bit careful with it when driving on the road over to the B-I-L's house with it on the back. It is a LOAD!!

I think the Vably weighs in around 950 pounds. That is not too bad on the back of my Kioti. I think my JD MX6 is right up there too.
