    Default Stuipd Question

    Hi,

I have a silly question that probably SHOULD be obvious, but is not exactly to me.

Can you mount a backhoe on a cab tractor? Or does the cab prohibit the backhoe?

Looks tough to manage, but people are many times pretty good at doing just that.

    Thanks!

Yes, some cab tractors can have backhoes, just depends on the manufacturer.

Here is a pic I just found with a google image search:

    Yes,
I mounted a Woods BH750 on mine. The BH came with a sub frame for another tractor. I made brackets to attach that frame to my tractor frame. BH runs off PTO driven pump.

    Thanks guys.

Nice to know it CAN be done. If you are going to be in cold country, the cab is VERY nice!

But, you also need to deal with crap only a backhoe can handle. And it ain't easy to find that answer on the web ... at least on a manufacturer's dales site.
