I got tired of switching between the forks and hay spear on my skid steer so I went ahead and build a dedicated round bale hay spear attachment. Bought the attachment plate online because they are so cheap.

Good build.

I lucked on to a Speeco UltraFork on craigslist several years ago. The guy sold it because with the 31" long spears, it wouldn't hold a 5x6 round bale.

I added a longer bale spear, by bolting the base to the center top hole and 3 point toplink bracket.

Now it works greatly on the front and rear. :D

That small telehandler looks like the perfect machine for light construction. How does do it handle heavy mud?

It would do better with R1 tires, but it is unstuckable.

I was spreading/leveling some dirt and silt and found a silt spot.

Lowered the bucket which lifted the front end up out of the silt.

Put it in reverse and extended the boom, not stuck now .

So I got a nice set of pallet forks with my tractor. The actual forks are adjustable and they come off of the base. Does anyone make a bale spear that would go onto the base I have for the forks? I don't have a picture, but I can take one this weekend in the light.

Titan makes a pallet fork/ bail spear combo. They also sell the spears separately do you have this setup? I have the 42" forks. No problems at all.

That is really cool. I like the receiver hitch, that would also be very useful. This is what I have, it a Paladin Industrial Series. Would love to get something like the above setup.

Awesome, thank you. My tractor is a Case and I got it and the forks from the local dealer, so they should be able to order me one.

Thanks
