tiller\'s from italy

I have been looking at tillers for myTC21D and have found a new Italian made tiller 47" for $950. After trying to find it on the internet, I think it is the same one that Rhino is selling. Does anyone know if Rhino imports it's tilles?

I have an Italian tiller;Agri-Tech.I would not buy another one,too light weight,when trying to till sod it just bounces on top of the ground.I don't know if this is Rhinos tiller or not,but I doubt it.

There are a number of very well built tillers from Italy on the market. For example, Sovema and Ortolan are both very well constructed (IMHO). As with most things, you need to ensure that there is a local dealer with parts readily available.

vannich: I have a Sovema tiller and it's as well made and as heavy as any I've seen. The only problem is that if you need spare parts it takes about two weeks for a dealer who usually has never heard of them to get the parts. The tiller came with my tractor and if I had to buy a tiller I would buy from a local dealer just because of the hassle with parts.

I have a Caroni tiller, aobut 50", made in Italy, and no complaints. It has done what i have asked of it so far, on sod and other types of ground. I think the Caroni brand is fairly common, i have seen them in some ag. catalogs before and at some different dealers. I am bery happy with it.

Rhino tillers are made in Italy. Which tiller are looking at Model, color, and which dealer. We sell 48" tillers all day long for $899.00 includes slip clutch protection, 6 blades per flange, and yes parts are available.

I have 14 year old Sovema tiller. Have worked it hard and the only down time was from a broken link in the drive chain last year. It does seem a bit light when working on fresh sod but will do the job. Bought it based on price (dealer demo) and it has served very well. If I were replacing it, would buy a brand from a dealer who I felt comfortable would be in business in a few years (my dealer went out of business).
