Hello Ribz,

You will be able to give it a better haircut in 2 days +- and you wont have to mow for another three weeks or so if the weather stays somewhat dry.

Don't forget the check the chaff screen on the mule.

Happy mowing.

Hello Shaef,

If my memory is right those roller bearings were Seal Master brand at one time

I cannot believe the new bearings are not greasable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a real surprise as this roller bearing has a higher ground speed than the front or rear wheels of either of your mules.

I have to check on a cross reference bearing for this bearing as the roller bearings on my dads 25A were greasable.

I will get back to everyone on this.

Hey Leonz,

The originals on mine were greaseable, too, as the bearing mounts still have grease fittings on them and grooves cut on the inner circumference for grease to find it's way into greaseable units.

I was told by several people that they made the bearings sealed because people were pumping too much grease into them and popping the seals out. Once that happens, it's only a matter of time until the bearing is contaminated and disintegrates.

Not sure how true it is, but seems to make some sense. I'm not sure I'd pay for greaseable units if they were $100/side. Not worth it to me for the amount of time the mower is used.
