I thought what I had in mind would be easy to find. Not so much. I lost a lens from my fender flasher lights. With all the branches I run through it was bound to happen. Does anybody know of light guards available for the fender mounted lights on my Kubota L4740?

Thanks.

After I tore off the second flasher light on my Kioti I made my own. Took a 1/4" metal plate and drilled holes for U-bolts. Then mounted it to the roll bar. Will try to get picture tomorrow.

It also makes a great hand hold for getting on the tractor.

I'll be looking for your pics also RSKY. My lights are "out there" like a sore thumb. So far I've been fortunate.

I tried to rotate the pics but could not. Anyway, it is a 1/4" plate cut on a chop saw with holes drilled for the U-bolts. A slot was cut for the light, which had to be taken off and reattached, and the pivot pins for the roll bar replaced with bolts. Took about a day from going to get materials to finish. That doesn't count letting paint dry, getting the wrong size U-bolts, wrong length thru bolts, etc..

It was so easy because the lights are attached to the rollbar base. Your tractor is probably different but you get the idea.

Thanks RSKY. You're right. I'm not sure that would work for my situation with the lights on top of the fenders, but it has me thinking. Thanks for taking the time to post those photos.
You're a credit to the Commonwealth!

Yes, thank you for the pics. Now you got me thinking. Even with my fenders being steel I don't think I want U-bolts on the fenders - but that's not the way you did it. HMMMM - - good Lord I smell wood smoke. Thanks RSKY.

I like your guards. Many of our machines got light guards added to them since the strobes we use run $150 and they get hit all the time.

I like it but mine are also mounted to the fender which would be too flimsy unless I put a backing plate underneath...which wouldn't be that hard.

I have DIY work lights mounted on the sides of my ROPS and they are constantly getting knocked loose from mowing along woods lines etc. I think I could fab up something like that for those as well. Thanks for the idea!

I would really like to know what they look like, where they come from, and price, if possible. Thanks.
