I'm in the market for a landscape rake for a Kubota B2601. 26hp, 2600 lbs, filled rears, FEL, 1400 lb lift 24" behind lift on the 3 point.

The new Land Shark rake from Everything Attachments looks pretty magnificent. I have two rear remotes so would be ideal with with the cylinders on the rake. The smallest one though is 72" and 60 lbs. I could always just take some of the outer tines out to reduce the width and the machine could handle the weight.

I'm sure these rakes were designed for much larger machines. I'd probably be hooking it up to my big Case 495 (50 hp, 6000 lbs) occasionally but the intent would be to mainly use it with the B.

Next option if this one is too large would probably be the EA 6' Severe XTream 3.0 rake. No hydraulic options but does have side swing as well as angle.

Looking at the less beefy options from Tractor Supply and the like I just don't think they'd stand a chance!

Thanks,
David

Probably to tall for your B to make use of. The main beam needs to be parallel to the ground. Get a pin height from ETA with the beam parallel to the ground and compare that to your full height pin measurement on the B. That will tell you how high you will be able to lift the rake off the ground.

If you have a hydraulic top link, that can take care of some of the problem, but the beam should to be able to be parallel to the ground when working the implement.

The EA 6' Severe XTream 3.0 rake would be a good 2nd choice.

6' is good for the B, but the CASE really should have an 8 footer IMO.

We just ordered a Severe Xtreme Duty rake from everything attachments. Still waiting for it to come though. Our tractor is a NH TC30, 30 hp, 4WD, about 3200 lbs w/ FEL. I was planning on getting the 7' version but we ended up with the 6' under their suggestion. One thing to note is the the severe xtreme duty model does NOT have offset capability like the cheaper normal xtreme duty rake has. It only has an angle adjustment. I didn't think that was a big deal though. I doubt I would have ever used the offset.
