Your pictures are a big help to me. I'm not sure about that front bracket yet, so when you get yours set up I'll be looking for some photos. It looks like on some it hangs "down" like a tear drop. On others it looks like its bolted up horizontally. I think the picture I have in post 19 would be the correct OEM brackets, but I'm not sure.

I hooked up a hydraulic hose to the loader while on the trailer and the cylinder moves so I think I'm just about in business except for that front bracket. I don't know if this valve set up will let the bucket retract but it seems like it moves it. Have to figure that out once its connected. 3000 ford 711 loader bracket template.jpg

Here is our best guess for our 1966 3000 diesel 711 Ford loader front bracket that we will tweak on the fly after the pin box section is mounted to the tractor. The plate is 3/8" steel. If we hit something with it when the loader is not attached hopefully it will bend vs bust up tractor castings.

Good you are good to go on hydraulics.

Will that hang down or be horizontal? Let me know how it fits...and if it works hang on the cardboard for me....My picture in #19 is similar.

I see in the picture it's actually turned upside down the two small holes run at a angle on our tractor.

Brackets 711 Loader perhaps.jpg

This from your post #4 may be the template I need for the front bracket since the blue hip bracket and rusty belly brackets are identical to our brackets that were said to have come off of a Ford 3000 diesel. I will go by the shop and show him this photo in the morning.

Attention to anyone with a three cylinder gas engine reading this. The front bracket is very different and seems to mount in two tapped holes in the front of the block made just for the bracket but should be much easier to mount and remove the bracket.

I wondered if that wasn't the case. If so, your pattern looks like it has a little too much off-set for the hole that the loader nub fits into on that front piece. I think I saw a pattern for that piece on line at one point, but I've searched and read so much I'm not sure.

I think the OE are the ones in my post 19.They seem to have the same hole pattern.

I think we have essentialy the same tractors....and loaders. Any chance you could pattern the front bracket and send it to me for my shop to make me a bracket? I think this is the OE I need but I doubt I'll ever find one.View attachment 549426

We agree with you this is the one that will work for us. Since ours had been cut and modified to fit a 3000 gas engine we could not figure out how it was going to fit. I have printed the part # 291279 picture full page size for the shop but I showed him the photo in your post and he got excited. The photo shows where to put the notch to clear the oil pan so we are just going to notch the repaired one hand cut from 1/2" plate.

You can see why everyone is making their own because of the weak top bolt hole. It is a long shot but you may want to contact Messick's.

New Holland: SUPPORT, Part # 291279

We did get the first section off of the tractor and I degreased, ground on it and got it primed just before dark tonight. I am going back to the shop in the morning (owner left me a power cord source) with my Infratech Portable Infrared Systems INF-14-1 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing.

Hopefully I can get the primer cured in a couple hours and get on the first coat of blue and it cured by noon. If it looks fine we may reinstall or put on the second coat. While it is curing I plan to get the cylinders cleaned up and painted and at least 2/3 of large movable second section so when we get it working we will be finished painting where all the cylinder and main pins can be installed and not have to come back off anytime soon.

You would be a hero to all those with this loader (and me) if when your shop guy gets his work done you'd have him sketch a pattern with dimensions to share here. My only real option will be the plywood mockup. Messicks site says they don't really have that part, even though its listed.
