Electro spool valve(s)???

Time to think about tip n tilt. I have one factory remote on the rear of the tractor. Having a cab would make it difficult to mount the manual spool valve in the cab. I wonder if they make electro spool valve that can be controled in the cab by switches. I'm basically looking to get three circuits total.

My thinking is that if I plumb the electro spool valve from the OE remote with quick couplers I could energize the circuit needed via a switch and use the OE lever that is in the cab to actuate the cylinders. Then when it comes time to use the backhoe I can undo the quick couplers to the spool valve and hook the back hoe up direct again.

Any thoughts, comments, suggestions?

The attachment shows what I'm trying to do. For me a picture is worth far more then my words.

I was hoping to use the OE lever for the in and out of the cylinders for each circuit, just using switches to select the circuit.

Some of the text didn't come out to well. I was using a CAD type program that has some unfreindly file extensions. I had to scan it in.

I have been pondering this recently myself and after watching and reading this board I decided to go with the V&M hydraulic multipliers. I would advise you to call Mark at V&M and discuss what you are trying to do. He seems pretty to know his stuff pretty good and is willing to discuss your options with you. The one I got was $400 (the SV series) but one thing to really think about is the
switch you are going to use. I ordered one of the fancy switches shown on their site
but after I installed it I decided not to use it. Instead I decided to put a single pole
double throw (on-off-on) switch in my dash. Flip the switch up and the side to side joystick
movements control my top link cylinder, flip it down and it controls my bucket curl.I
think I could have saved about $100 by not getting their switch assembly.
The set up as I ordered it was about $400 (including the above mentioned switch
assembly) but JD wanted a little over $1000 to add on remote valves. This all seemed too expensive to me but $400 looked pretty good after thinking about $1000 for a couple of days
I don't have any photos of mine, I may have some in the next few days if there is any interest.

Thanks for the lead to V&M. I talked to him a couple of weeks ago. Very freindly and knowledgeable guy. The sv series valve is what I looked into. I will need the "3" meaning you get extra 3 remotes. Also you can add on to the block assembly in the future and send the control handle back and he will install the extra switches at no cost. The "3" valve is about $550. This may seem a little high (compared to manual spool valves) but the benefits out weight the price. It is easier to install, less hose needed. All the hoses are "outside" which is safer if you ever have a hyduralic leak. The layout is a lot more flexible (location of valve, etc.).
