Cost of replacement gear box for 5 shredded

Hi everyone, I am bidding on a Ford 1900 at a location auction, it comes with a 5 King Kutter shredder and a 5 box blade. The tractor is in really good shape with under 400 hours. The biggest issue is the gear box on the shredder had a bad leak around the input shaft. I am not to sure how the gears look but I suspect it has been ran while it was low on gear oil and afraid there are some gear or bearing damage. So if win the auction I am thinking of replacing it with a new gearbox with slip clutch and wondering How much I should look at paying and where is a good place to order one from.

Agri-supply also has a selection with all the specs. On the other hand you may find that all you need is a seal and some oil.

Thank you for the recommendation, I checked them out, good prices on parts. I hope that is all it needs is a new seal and new oil. I am going tomorrow morning to do a full inspection on it. Six days left in the auction, I hope I win it.

New gearbox is about $175. The slip clutch will cost a good bit more. If you just have a leak. Fill it with Cornhead grease. It gets thin when warm but is thick at room temp. I have used it several times with great results. Never had a leak.
