Land Pride PHD
For those who have experience with one, how are the Land Pride post hole diggers? I think I am getting ready to order one and thus far, I am very impressed with Land Pride products. Also, would you agree that a 12" auger would be a good "all around" size for most projects? Thanks!

Re: Land Pride PHD
I have the PD25 and I like it quite a bit. The ratcheting pin clutch is nice to have. The 12" auger is all I have at the moment. I don't really have a need for another size. The available stand is pretty nice, you might want to get that at the same time.

Re: Land Pride PHD
There's a LandPride PHD with a heavy duty 6" auger for sale locally for $500. It was used last year to plant about 100 cedar fence posts, then stored in the barn till now. Not sure how much these things are new, but is $500 a decent price for a used unit?

Re: Land Pride PHD
It depends on the model. If its a PD25 or 35 that isn't bad if the auger is in good condition but if it's one of the smaller ones it would be too high IMO. List on a PD25 with auger is around $1000 or so. $245 for the auger and the rest for the unit.
