Who makes Northern Tool\'s PHD and how does it rate

I am looking at getting a PHD for my TC30. Northern Tool has one on their website for $379 without the auger. It looks like a lot of the other ones out there. Does anyone have any experience with this one?

When I was looking for a PHD, I found that the dealers in my area generally carried one or more of the big brands (e.g., Bush Hog), and a less expensive brand. Generally that second brand turned out to be International Machine. They aren't the prettiest. They were priced around $400. And there are a lot of folks here on TBN that have International equipment of different sorts. Not saying that the other short line companies don't make good equipment, just what I found.

I bought my PHD from Northern Tool and am totally satisfied. It is a Greenline MFG model FM5500. I believe that is what is show on your link. Mine is all black though. I paid $565.00 delivered. Hope this helps you. G

I thought it might be a Greenline. Thanks for confirming that. Just wanted to know if I ordered it that I would be able to get parts for it if I had to.

No problem. It also comes filled with gear oil. Double check to make sure if you get one. G
