Doss anyone know of a good easy change 3-point system that will fit my Mahindra 5500? I looked at Pat's, but it only fits lift arms 2-3/4" high. The lift arm's on my tractor flare out to 3-1/2" high.

I've been looking at the Pat's system for my Mahindra 5500 4WD but I am concerned about changing the lift capacity by extending the arm length! I am using a John Deere 7' bush cutter and my tractor barely picks it up now. i'm not sure I haven't damaged my lift already because even with a lightweight implement, I have to move up my rpm's above a fast idle to get full lifting height. Does anyone know if this is normal and how high my lift should go? Should I be concerned about using the Pat's system?
Thanks!

Published specs on the 5500 show that it has a lift capacity of over 3900lbs! I don't believe that the couple of inches that the Pat's hooks add are going to cause a problem with lifting just about any implement. Do you run your tractor at somewhere close to idle speed? I know that with my hydro I need to run it at a min 2000 rpm to have hydraulics all function properly.

RJFCO,

If you have a manual, check in it for the hydraulic trouble shooting section. Or go to Mahindrausa.com the at the top of the sit is a 24/7 Customer care window. All you will need is the tractor serial number (lower case when entering) to locate your tractors section. Another thing is have you checked your fluid level. Another way would be to post your inquiry in the Mahindra forum here in TBN. Your tractor has a 3969lb max lift capacity on the 3pt with the 11 gallon per minute flow rate. The same that I have with my 5530 4wd.
