Do you shorten or extend the top link to plow deeper I am suffering from memory loss for I know this and have not forgot.

I'd shorten the top link to make the point turn downwards more. Lower the 3 pt to the lowest point and I reckon that will be as deep as it'll go. I have some pics of using my middle buster to sink some 4" corragated drain. Worked pretty well. Sure beats the hickory Backhoe.. Check them out under my tractor album section.

I just bought and used a middle buster for the same reason. Dug about 3' by hand and then stopped at the farm store on the way home the next day. Best $107 I ever spent!

Now I'm looking for a narrower sweep. May just buy the KK one and cut it down.

How narrow? I bought a single big "tooth" made for a really big chisel plow at Tractor Supply Co. and sometimes bolted it on in place of the plow share. If I remember right it was only 2" wide.

Just bought a potato plow last year,,and guess what I used it for,,I plowed my potatoes, worked great,,for that I lowered it,made point level with ground, than shorted up top link a little to dig in,,don't need much for potatoes,,,if you put it on float,it will dig in by it self,,be doing it again in a couple of weeks,,,,thingy

Bird,

Maybe 2" or 3". I looked at what they had a Orschlens, where I bought the middle buster, and they had sweeps but the bolt holes didn't match up. Want something I can use to bury 3" plastic conduit. My wife says I need to bury the coax that will run to my ham radio antennas.

Could use the sweep that I used for the 4" plastic drain pipe but don't need a hole that wide.

Try getting yourself a plow point called a "corn plow." Mine is about 4" wide, and the holes line up fine. As a matter of fact, one of the holes is elongated to give a little flexibility.
