Jimna Chipper Blades
I have the chipper on order. I will do a thorough check before putting it in service. Does anyone know of an after market source for blades? Are the factory blades of good quality? Are there any other parts I should replace or have on hand?
Thanks

Re: Jimna Chipper Blades
I'd order another set of factory blades if I couldn't source them aftermarket, since I don't know how long they'd last or how difficult they are to procure. That being said, I probably have 10-15 hours of chipping on mine and the chip size is just as small as when it was new.
I'd also make sure I had an extra feed-drive belt on hand - the belt is the "clutch" that slips when the feed is jammed. I haven't replaced it yet, but I have smelled it burning a couple of times...
