Is there any source for parts and a manual for a George White 60" Mini Blizzard snowblower? I believe George White & Sons went out of business 15 or 20 years ago, or maybe they were bought out.

That's right, what do you need? Most parts on them should be off the shelf parts like bearings, pto or roller chain. If the blower fan is broken it might be time to replace although even that could be rebuilt. George's company built a lot of blowers as well as sprayers and a few other items.

Are you hinting that there is no parts support particular to George White stuff anymore? I though that maybe there was someone who bought out the remaining spares, or maybe a follow on company still serviced the stuff.

I don't need any parts now (that I know of). I thought a manual copy would be good reference.

Bought one, missing chain. Do you happen to know the roller chain specs?

Welcome to the forum.
I am not sure about that specific model of snowblower but I would suspect the auger drive chain is a #50 or #60. Number #50 would be 5/8 inch between pin centers and #60 would 3/4 between pin centers. If you are replacing the chain I would also recommend replacing the idler tension sprocket at the same time as that is a part that can have the bearings fail. Also check for any looseness in the fan and gearbox shaft by gently prying up on a blade with the tractor off. A very little looseness can be alright but much of any can be a major problem.

I think the George White snowblowers are halfway common but there seems to be very little on the internet about them. I cannot even find what became of the company, I assume they disappeared a while ago. Most of the parts are standard bearings and readily available but side shafts, shear plates, fans and augers will pretty much have to be made if they are needed.
