It's called a "Load Handler". I bought one through J.C. whitney, and it works great in a pickup. I've used mine for topsoil & gravel, and I have no complaints. That trailer is a lot bigger, it may be difficult to unload a heavy load.

Thanks for the great pictures.
I've thought about one for my trailer but assumed it would be only 4 ft to fit PU bed. How wide is your load handler? Where did you purchase? I went to JC whitney but did not find size, just various size PU beds. Does the handle ratchet or must you make full turns. My trailer is close to the ground at the rear.
If I could get one 6 feet wide that would work for me /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I got mine off E-bay, buy it now for 148.00, the guy was really nice to do business with and the price included shipping. My wagon is 53" inside and I too was thinking that they were only 48" wide. I got the LM3000 which is the heavy duty for full size P/U and it is 52 1/2" wide, couldn't have been more perfect. Oh yea, and it is about 12' long when pulled all the way out, but you need a few turns on the shaft to keep from pulling it loose. The crank handle does not ratchet, have to go full turn, you could go half turn at a time but that would take a long time to unload. I put the handle on so it was shorter, and I had no trouble cranking it with one hand. My other shoulder is not good for much. I think I had real close to a ton of rocks on it and I'm thrilled at the performance. I have some linoleum left from remodling and I will put that in the bed and give it a try, it should be quite a bit slicker than the treated wood, especially if I wax it. If you'd like, I can get you the sellers name, or the link on E-bay, he's from Texas, but I didn't hold that against him /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
