I am using a King Kutter 48” tiller on my 21 hp B21 Kubota. I will say that it works my tractor harder than most anything else I use. The B21 is a bit light in the PTO hp department (13.5) yet I still managed to till and plant about an acre of new grass this last Fall in our Georgia clay. In the future it will be mostly used for the established garden beds and does a great job there. I believe you have more PTO hp than I and should be fine with a 4’ tiller unless you plan on tilling large areas often.

We sell new Kioti tractors and most buyers of the CK20 and LB1914 use the 48 inch First Choice shown below. Our 22 and under hp, Kubota customers that require roto tillers have had good results from that tiller as well and like the close color match as well--Ken Sweet

I bypassed your post yesterday figuring there would be a bunch of responses from B7500/7510 owners, but since there isn't let me add my non-Kubota experience. My tiller is a 50" LandPride and I use it with a 24hp tractor in heavy clay soil. I have enough power for the tiller, and probably could go a little bit bigger, but then I have 3hp more than you have. I'd say that a 4' tiller is just about perfect for a 21hp tractor.

Using a 48" Sovena behind a B7500. Walks through heavy clay soil, areas that have been overgrown with grass for 15 to 20 years. Seems to be a nice fit.

Arch,
My previous tractor was a Kubota B2150 with 20 pto hp.

I used a 48" Rotivator on it, The 2150 was a gear model and I never had one minutes problem using the tiller. It handled it like a champ. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

CCM has Gear Driven tillers from 34" to 105". We sell only gear driven tillers with no chains to break and adjust. We have just introduced the CR Series tillers for Sub-Compact and smaller compact tractors. With the MR Series (60 HP transmission) and the CR Series (35 HP transmission), we can offer commercial grade tillers for sub-compact and compact tractors.

it sounds like a 4' tiller is the one - try to get one just wider than your rear wheels (probably 4')
just my 2 cents mith

Or an offset tiller? I think this means that you can set it up shifted, so you can till out past your tire on one side. This allows you to have a tiller smaller than the tractor width. Do I have this right?

Our CR-40 Series tiller is a fixed offset that should cover one tire of a 50" wide tractor track and yet it needs only 10 HP. The CR-40 tiller is designed for gray market tractors and tractors like the Kubota BX1500 that need a wider tillage cut and yet have limited HP.
One more thing a Kubota B7510 has PTO HP of 16 HP HST or 17 Gear. PTO HP is what matters.
