I have a B2710 HST w/B2772 front-mount snow blower w/hydraulic chute rotation control. (Great tractor and great snow blower.) However, a hydraulic oil leak has developed in the hydraulic motor where its shaft exits the motor housing to connect to the worm gear that rotates the chute. The leak only occurs when the chute is rotating.
Is there a way to stop this leak (perhaps replacing an internal seal) or do I need a new hydraulic motor?

There is a oil seal on the output shaft that will need to be replaced. You can most likely remove it without having to disassemble the motor itself. Once you get it removed take it and the motor with you to a local bearing supplier. most of them carry oil seal replacements that you can tap back in place.
