recommended 3pt rototiller

I have a Kubota B7500HST and would appreciate some feedback on recommended tillers for this tractor. Also, what features too look for would be appreciated and approximate pricing.

My wife's B7500 has the 50" Landpride tiller and it works just fine in the clay soil of our area. As far as features, I was interested in sufficient width to cover the rear tires and tiller offset. My dealer recommends land pride for parts availability and parts cost. He also peddles AGRIC and Rankin. I also looked at the Howse tiller and thought it was a pretty good rig.

My choice of tiller for that tractor would be the Kubota FL1021RC. Don't quote me on this, but I believe it is a 40" tiller. It is reverse rotation which means instead of bouncing on top of the ground and trying to push the tractor it will dig in and do a much better job of tilling. It is fairly pricey but does an excellent job and is very well built. Please check with your dealer to make sure your tractor has enough power.

Check out the KingKutter tillers. 48" runs around $1,000. They are heavy and heavy duty. My 60" KK is built with fixed offset to the right so the 48 probably is too. I use it on a B7500 with no problem, but I have soft soil & no rocks. I will never use one of those walkbehind torture machines again.
BTW, Kubota says up 49" for B7500.

I bought a Sovema laser 2120 for $1150 it offsets and has 4 blades per flange haven't had any problems with it on my 35 hp. tractor

I've been looking at the Sovema Laser-2 series. Aren't you a little overpowered for the 120 with your 35 hp tractor?

Did you get a manual with the tiller that specifies HP ratings? Is it different than Sovema's web site? If you did can you let me know what it says. I'm leaning towards the 140.

dpm I bought a 48" cirtis and it offsets for 1075$. My B7500 did a good job in low gear and low range, but did make the engine die down a good bit. This was in a grass area that had been undesturbed for several years and is very rocky.

My tractor engine hp is 35 but the PTO hp is 30.5, so I figured it would be okay.I'm not really sure how the manufacturers rate their implements?

Rule of thumb-Most manufacturers :

-on PTO driven implements by PTO HP rating {sometimes min.-max.}

-on ground engaging implements by Tractor Drawbar HP rating

{Don't use Gross or Net Engine HP ratings as they are useless in the real world}
