Thanks John and Richard! Now I know where to get one cheap. My next question is this; I want to dig a trench to lay some pipe. My old Ferguson doesn't have down pressure on the three point hitch. Will I be able to cut through my hard packed dirt driveway with the middle buster?

Angle it down as far as you can and get it with the top link to start cutting down. Unless it's like cement you should be able to get it to dig. Getting it started is the hard part. If you have to dig a hold to start it in and then go.

GREAT link Thanks, never saw so darn many kinds of spuds in my life, guess growing up in Idaho stuck Russet in my brain (potato head).

I'm also partial to little known or older apple flavors. Lots of guys back east keeping old apples on new root stock. Heritage types. That might sound funny coming from a guy who doesn't eat a Red Delicious. By the way, Ive been told Washington state out produces Idaho for spuds now.
The point to all this. I think some still have a desire to use the compact tractor for food. As a hobby or whatever. It always tastes better if you do the homework.
Last night's national news showed a square watermelon grown in Japan. <font color=red>$82.00 a piece.</font color=red>

i read ya post and got off the net thinking "yea right square watermelon" what next waterproof teabags for camping trips,ejector seats in helicoptors, non stick packing tape.i sat down rolled a smoke and flicked on the telly .strike me dead if the square watermelon thing is not on the news .bring on more square fruit ,stacks better don't roll around in ya lunch box ,on things being square someone said somwere thats why bottles of JD 's are square so it don't roll out from under ya seat when ya talking to the cops
