Yep, that's pretty much what ours looked like. Big cable out the back with a bunch of smaller cables for hooking the logs onto. Grab 'em, yank 'em up and go. Those bad boys can haul a load. Ours was a Deere, but I don't recall the model. Grapple skidders (like the skidpro setup) are also available. And then they have what we called the "Iron Mule", (may have been a brand name). That was basically a skidder but the back was a trailer and you had a log loader to pick the bolts (logs) up with and plop them on the trailer. Then off you went to the dock and stack em.
