Re: woods 52\" tiller

I just purchased the woods estate tiller GTC 52". I have it hooked to my JD 585 which is smaller than your b7610. Only tilled a little bit to get it dirty and see if it worked. The ground has had a lot of mosture so it didn't have any problem tilling the turf 2.5"deep. I will till my garden sometime in the next month and will post back.

Re: woods 52\" tiller

Sir,

I have that exact tiller on my Killer B7610. It works very well. I would add that it JUST covers the tracks from the R4 tires at the stock width.

One note of caution: The first day I got the tractor and tiller, I began tilling some real hard ground. The tractor was running at about 1500 RPM. I hit a rock and stopped the tractor cold. It restarted with no problem. But the lesson I learned was that the slip clutch on the Woods is evidently set for a higher HP tractor. I plan to adjust it this spring before using it again.

Check out my pics below for a photo of the B7610 with the tiller on the back.

Finally got around to taking this picture of the Woods 52" tiller. Haven't used it yet except for counter weight. Looks a little big on the X585 huh. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
