I would sure be interested in how well it works out. I would not have thought a flail mower would be very good around rocky soil - just shows how much I know. They are expensive and I never could figure out what they did well enough to justify the cost. Instead of getting one big blade running around back there you have 80 of them. Seriously the attractive part to me was that they take up so little room behind the tractor for a wide cut. A 8 ft rotary mower is long, but an 8 ft flail is about the size of a tiller.

Thanks, I always wondered where a source for the belting material was. I had a 6 ft Rhino mower and the belting material tore after a few years use.
