These should be marketable....don't you think? I traded my BX last year and have two implements I want to sell.

-60" rotary cutter of unknown origin. It's built well and cuts great. One of the two main blades has a small chunk taken out of it from a rock. Cutter was used maybe three times to mow a 3 acres field. The guy I bought it from new "lost the manual", so I don't know who manufactured it.

- Rear Blade from Woods (RB 60). Perfect shape. 60". I used it to fill an electrical trench and plow my driveway until I got a snowblower.

I'll post these in the Classified section soon. PM me if you have any questions or want pictures.

Jim,

I think you should be able to sell those implements without too much trouble.

But I don't think a 60" rotary cutter is BX sized. When I was in the market for a rotary cutter it was debated whether a 60" was too big for my B2910. The BX operators manual, if I remember right, specs either a 42" or 48" max.

I would just advertise them for what they are and let them go at that...

You got me second guessing myself now.....I'll go out to the barn tomorrow and measure. I was certain the cutter was 60", but maybe it is 48". I'll check /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Whatever it is, the old BX handled it well. I cut down a lot of old field growth with that. BX didn't mind one bit.

How much you want for the Woods??

I am interested in the rotary cutter. Especially if it is 60". Do you have any pics of it? Is it slip clutch or sheer pin?

Greg,

Let me check it out and get back to you later today. I'll attach a picture and have the exact size next time I post here.

It's got a sheer bolt....nothing fancy and nothing too expensive. Works great for bashing down trash growth though. It's not a lawn mower /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I'm only asking $450 for it . I think I paid something just under $700 (inc. tax) last year. -Hosed it down before I put it away for the winter so it's pretty clean as it sits. For the $$, it's worth it even if you only get a couple of seasons out of it, but if it's not abused and given some maintenace it should last for years.

Henro,

You are correct. The rotary cutter is 50" wide. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
