Hello,
I have a jx75case ih,4wd.I purchased a woods extra heavy duty tooth bar for it.After opening the box I,m not sure if it was the right choice. It seems to be made well but what concerns me is the design for my application. Most tooth bars that I have seen go on top of cutting edge. This is made with two heavy pieces of metal in a v that traps the cutting edge.It look very strong but the cutting edge becomes very blunt. My main use for now is building a pond.I need to move dirt from piles left from exavator. My main concern is it going to take more force to penetrate the dirt with the toothbar than without it.The cutting edge seems very blunt, almost 3/4 inch flat.Maybe the teeth opens ground enough?(any help)?
Thanks Rex
