I know there has been discussion about these before on TBN, but I just saw them for the first time at the local TSC. They are sure not the quality of Woods, Bush Hog, et.al., but they appear to be decently built for the $$$. The back blade was $200, and the landscape rake was $365. How are these prices, and does anyone have any experience with these implements? Thanks,
Will

I have no King Kutter implements, but at one time I had a small King Kutter brush hog which I used for years and had lots of good service under many hard hours of use.
I think with a King Kutter product you get a lot of value for the money, there is a lot of farmers in my area that have the old King Kutter implements that were painted blue. Now days I am a John Deere green guy.green implements etc.... but for the money I do not think you can go wrong on a King Kutter implement.

I have both a KK box blade and a rear blade. Both have worked ok. I looked over the welds on each prior to buying one and passed on one the TSC was going to load on my truck as it showed a couple of questionable welds.

The lift pins on my rear blade are in the radius of the frame, and the holes are egg shaped due to the bending process of building the frame. Not very pretty, but so far it works.

If I buy a rear bush hog, it will likely be a KK due to price.

For the $$$, I'm happy. Of course, if one of mine breaks, I have the tools and smarts to patch it.

My two cents.

Will, I have a KK 4' box blade and a KK 6' rear blade, The paint jobs were not the best but both work very well and seem to be very sturdy. I bought the rear blade for $160 at TSC because it had several rust spots, they had a yellow "reduced price" tag on it. I sanded of the rust off and painted it Cub Cadet yellow. Looks better than new. You get a lot for the money.

Will - No experience but I see they're being advertised by Northern Tool also. That new XB wagon sure has me drooling. I'd sure like to add that to the collection! And the rotary cutter, and the rake, and the blade, and the............ /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif Chuck

I bought a 7' rear blade at TSC for my Mahindra 2810hst, last fall, for snow plowing. Works well. Paid about 220 for it. They had a heavier weight for around 300, I think. (Heavier channel and reinforced blade). I would go with the better one if I was going to do anything but push snow.

I do not own any KK implements. But I have looked at them when I went to Tractor Supply. I think they look very sturdy and well made. Paint and finish work may not look as good as some of the higher priced brands, but I think function should be as good as higher priced models. I would like to buy a KK heavy duty rear blade. Looks well made to me.
Almost everyone I know who owns KK likes it.
