5\' King Kutter Box Blade for Kubota B7510?

I am in the market for a box blade for my B7510 and need to know if a 5' would be to large. Kubota recommends the 4' box blade, but I want to get enough width to go around corners and do not think I could accomplish this with a 4'.

From what I have seen, the 5' King Kutter Box Blade is a good value since I am just using it for around my 5 acre property.

Unless you have loose sandy soil, I would not even consider a 5' box blade for a that light of a tractor. Box Blade work is really a traction issue, this is one time when I think heavy tractors have a real advantage over light tractors (and generally I like light tractors). The B7510 is a light tractor of modest HP, a 5' box blade is probably going to stop that tractor dead in its tracks on anything but loose sand. I have a heavier New Holland TC24 with more power and even that struggles with a 5' box blade, I tried it one time and don't bother with it any more. Now the box blade work is done exclusively with the B2910.

There does appear to be a number of companies that offer a 54" box blade. May be an option to consider depending on your intended uses etc. That may cover your tires?
