Hey, I interested to hear your options/advice for the TR3 rake manufactured by Absolute Innovations. My intended uses would include gravel driveway maintenance, raking stones from fill, soil spreading/grading.
Please include the purchase price, how helpful the manufacturer was to provide information & deal, and the pros/cons of using the TR3 rake over how you accomplished these tasks in the "good old days". Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Haven't got one, but ordered the video and spoke with the mfg. All looks positive, except the price. I just can't swing paying that much!

When I spoke with the mfg, they provided the name of a user near me, but I've not gone out to see it work yet.

Oh, they offered to send me one for 30 days (or something) risk free, which I thought was very generous, but I'd still have to pay for it, so it was a mute point.

We bought one for ground prep for our lawn seeding business. We have been very happy with the results.
When we first got it, my brother was ready to send it back. He was trying to level some dirt around his new house construction, and could not make it work. We called the manufacturer, and they gave us some tips on what to do. We tried them, and it worked like a champ. We have what they call the 3 1/2 ft. model behind our CK20HST, the finish rake is actually 5 ft wide. It seems like every job takes a little adjustment to make it work perfectly, but once made, it does an amazing job. They are also built like a tank. Over the winter we replaced the top link on the tractor with a cylinder, which should make adjustments quicker and easier. I used it to do some grading and leveling work on my driveway, and it worked great. I think we paid $2250 for our rig, but it now looks like the day it was delivered, and we have used the tar out of it. It is quicker than a pulverizer, maybe not as quick as a Harley Rake. The price falls in between the two.
