All the 3 - pt rakes I've seen lately (including the one I bought) have teeth made of flat bar stock bent into a 3/4 circle.

Yet I think I once saw one being used that had teeth that resembled the tines of a hay fork - they were rods with blunt points bent into a 3/4 circle.

Does anyone make a 3 - pt rake that doesn't have flat teeth? Or am I having a senior moment?

I have a friend who made a 3pt rake from an old dump rake. They have the round teeth you are talking about. I know of no company which makes them now. You could find an old dump rake and make one yourself. They sell at farm sales around here many times each year. They used to be used in haying operations years back.

Could you be thinking of a spring tooth harrow? If you have a local TSC.. check their 'consumables' ilse.. mine has replacement spring teeth. it is essentially rod stock, and coiled into a spring at one end to let it 'give' some.

No this rake (if I recall correctly) looked just like the one we've got and everyother one I've looked at with"flat" teeth except that the tines on it were made of round stock not flat. It was not a home-built (wasn't a "spring-chicken" either and that's probably more to the point than anything else!) and I've looked at the TSC Spring Tooth Harrow that's not it either.
