Have about 8 acres that is flatish soil has some clay and small rocks. Lots of goffer mounds and typical run off from rain over the years. The water flow will always be a concern from the way the property is sloped.
The tractor is a kubota BX2230 23hp & 16.7 at the PTO, FEL and box. If you heard about the largest brush fire in California in 03 "CEDAR FIRE" weed control is a big issue. That fire started south of my house burned away and turned and came back 36 hours later and burned to my neighbors house (Thank you Nevada brush crews out of RENO!!). Anyway I was thinking batwing but what about a disk? I know that they recomend a 42" batwing but I dont remember or know if a disk is recomended. Any other ideas?
Thanks for your time and responses in advance /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If the area is fenced, I'd suggest goats. They'll clean up the brush and fertilize the area so you can get something growing to hold the soil.

To many 4 legged and 2 legged predators. Cyotes, Mountain lions, lynx, ferral dogs and chicken ranch hands. Was a good thought though. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
The run off is not a huge issue but being 13" over on rainfall this year makes it more of priority to play catch up. Adding to the fact I was told that I need to make it more horse compatable tonight. So I guess I am leaning moe towards the disk and drag.
