I've found the following at the prices indicated. I don't know what kind or what condition they are in, but I'd guess at least fair. I am planning on going to get them tomorrow afternoon.

2 bottom plow $150.00
2 row cultivator $75.00
potato plow $50.00

The gentleman said the potato plow could be converted to a subsoiler. Do I really need to get the potato plow, If I'm getting the 2 bottom? He also had a 3pt, pto driven tiller, slightly used, but it sold already for $750. However I believe my Ford 640 moves a little too fast in 1st gear to pull a pto tiller behind it.

Hello Ken,
Those prices do sound good. If they are in usable condition you should always be able to get that much for them should you want to sell them some time later. KennyV.

Well I went to the ATM and got the cash out, came back home and called the guy to get directions to his house, and he told me he sold it all last night! I was really taken aback as I hadn't even tried to bargain with him on the phone yesterday when I talked to him. I told him I would definitely be out today to get it and he said he would hold it. He didn't even give me a chance to counter any offers he might have gotten, and he just cost me $3.25 to get the money out of the ATM.

Does a mans word not amount to ANYTHING ANYMORE?????

Oh wow, that's a bummer. I know how you feel. Same thing happened to me on a 2 row corn planter. I was out and looked at it, told him I'd take it. When I got back 2 hours later with a trailer and cash, he said it was sold. Had to really compose myself to keep from telling him what an **** I thought he was.
