What will fix my yard Part 2

Hey guys I just wanted to let you know I got the xb series box blade at TSC and WOW can this thing dig. With my little 2210 and turfs I did spin the tires until everything dried out but I got alot done. So much in fact that I think a little rake time and this project is over. I cut the area in front of my garage down by 1 foot and that dirt then filled and smothed the area behind the garage. I will try to get some pics posted tomorrow. To tell you the truth I didn't think the box blade would dig like that. I could really rip up that clay move alot of material. I had 5 hours of seat time and it was 75 degrees out. Gotta love that. From all the posts on here about using the box blade I was fairly competent using it after a couple hours. My friends get mad at me but I usually can learn how to use equiptment and toys very quickly. Thanks again for all the advice. Roger /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Maybe u did not have to move as much dirt as your original pics indicated? I figured bulldozer or a 100 hrs of seat time!!! I will be wanting to see the pics!!! Your original pics looked like your entire back yard would drain into your garage and seemed like you could not drive a car in.....You got the correct box blade for your tractor......Glad you like it.. Have you thought about the dirt scoop?

Right now my "honey due" list got reall big. You know the spring drill screens, chairs, powerwash everything, Putting in a gas line to my garage, soccer starts ( I have 3 kids 9,8,6) I just haven't had time to get to it all. I'm taking bids right now for hydro seeding. Why don't contractors show up when you have a meeting time? They don't even call. I will have the pics up this weekend and if all goes well you will get to see before and after photos of hydroseeding. Have any of you used this before? What can I expect from it?
