My wife would like to know if a landscape rake will get the leaves to? I've never seen one in operation. Does it pretty much do like a regular hand rake? Or do you have to go behind it with a hand rake??

A landscape rake is equivalent of a garden rake, not a leaf rake. You COULD use it for leaves but it's not going to be your best choice. It's strength is in smoothing dirt, just like a garden rake does /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It works pretty good for gather rotting pears off the ground, too. It does scar the grass a bit though, even with ga wheels. I wouldn't use it on a "lawn" with the tines set that low.

Hmm, ok, the primary concern is leaves, small rocks, small pieces of limbs etc.. Got another implement for this? Or should I tell her to get her lazy butt out there and rake it?
I'd rather not do that right after she let me order the ck30, bh, fel, rotary cutter, and box blade... I'm feeling generous! ha

That's a crazy looking beast! I'll look into it! Thanks!!

Here's another site you can surf while you're waiting for your tractor to show up. They have yard rakes.

Northern Tools

They also have lots of other attachments I wouldn't mind having... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Anyone use a hay rake with live oak leaves, they're small dense buggers that don't move around well.

I just picked up a landscape rake last night. Guy down the road had it for sale. Most likely paid to much. (Wife wanted it). Admittedly it doesn't do much on the hard clay I have for ground. But when I drove it through the thistle area. It took roots and all! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif So I'm ;ooking forward to running it thru the woods to see if we can tidy that area up next.
