This is a company that resides near my home. My dealer introduced me to these hitches last week, and I must say they sure are interesting. The male part hooks on your current 3pt hitch, and the female part goes on your implements. The only thing you have to hook up is a PTO shaft. Just back up to the implement and lift the male up into the female mate. The fastest quick hitch I've seen in use, and I suppose the female will fit any implement.
I don't remember the costs exactly, but not inexpensive, but well worth it if you have back problems or just don't want to mess with it.
I think male and 3 females are somewhere around $1K.
When you go to the site, click on specials and scroll down to see the hitch. There are also some deals on other things, such as an Eicher Indian tractor (originally developed with the German Eicher company), 35 HP for $7200!

John,
I watched the video for the link you supplied - WOW thats quite a jiffy hitch. Why didnt I think of that ?
Why do you do this to me - now I have to go buy one.
By far the best I have ever seen.

I looked over the site quickly and didn't see the video. I'll have to go back and see it.

Looks like a lot of work to make one of these. They're rather pricey, but sure do work well. Seeing the live demo at my dealers made a believer out of me.

I'll contact the owner and try to negotiate some discount for TBN members.

I'll let you all know, probably next week sometime.

All I'm getting is "page cannot be found" error message.
I'll have to try again later.

IMO, it is a lot of extra steel and weight that is not that much more advantage over the simple quick hitch system, such as SpeeCo and i-Match. The extra money, for a steel piece to add to every attachment, is more than simply having the attachments re-worked to be i-Match or SpeeCo compatible.
For a CUT size tractor, the extra weight, let alone pushing the attachment another 6-8 inches further back from the tractor, would be a disadvantage and reduce the lifting capacity of the 3pt, as well as require more counterbalance on the front end.

Just my thoughts. These hitch ideas have been around for along time. Just don't catch on for some reason. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

If you have the tractor for the extra weight, or have a need to change implements alot of times during a job, I think this is great. I put an implement on and it may stay on a week or so. My Pat's system works great for me, is easy to remove with only 2 pins and was alot less $$$ to buy.

My BX is almost outdone by the weight of my tiller, KK 48, much more would not work well.

A well thought out system for sure, and for the multi tasking farmer or contractor probably a good buy.

John, Jiffy Hitch is pretty nifty, there was a lot of discussion about them about a year or so ago. The biggest downside I see is the CO$T of them. They are obviously designed for some larger unit, but they do offer some real advantages over the other quick hitches, not the least of which is that there is no need to have standardized 3pt implements that match up to the quick hitches.

For people interested in this type of product, there are other brands of similar units out there in addition to the Jiffy Hitch. The advantage of the delta style hitches is that they conform to international ISO standards while the other sytle quick hitches and many implements do not all conform to ASAE standards.

Other brands of Triangular style hitches include:
Freedom Hitch Freedom Hitch website
Delta-Hook Rapid Hitch
Triangle Quick Hitch bubco's Triangle Hitch website

Oh, I agree with you and with Beenthere. I use Pat's just fine, but thought someone else may be interested in these hitches. They are high dollar for sure, and do add a lot weight.
Some of the big boys, with BIG implements would enjoy these so they don't have to fight anything at all to change them out.
Bob, I had heard of the others, just never had seen one in person until my dealer showed them to me. They can be right for some people. John
