Kubota B3200 w/ BH77 & 12", 18" & 24" buckets, Kubota B50 SSQA w/ 54" & 60" buckets, LandPride FDR1660, Artillian Fork frame, Extreme 3pt rake, Concrete Mixer, MyTractorTools grapple adapter
Got the mail tonite when I came home from work and there was a promotional mailer from Woods in there with a card good for $100 off thru July 10 for purchasing a Woods product. There are a few more implements I wouldn't mind having - like a landscape rake, a tiller, and maybe a power rake. They are however excluding forks, blades, rakes, skid steer buckets, and box scrapers from this deal so that pretty much leaves the tiller and the power rake. And I can't afford the power rake....
So I guess my question is - how are Woods tillers? I have been thinking about getting a tiller and $100 off is hard to pass up. They make the GTC40 that would fit nicely on my BX23 - wondering if maybe one of the offset tillers though might be a better unit to get...

How are Woods tillers? They're good to begin with. At $100 off they're darn good! Too bad you missed Mother's Day! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I recently bought a Woods GTC40 for my sub-cut (Cub Cadet 5234D). The GTC40 is a great tiller. It breaks up never before tilled soil with ease, even if it is full of rocks. This tiller it exceeded my expectations. I was leaning towards the GTC52 but I called Woods and spoke to a tech about the GTC 40 and GTC52, he said the GTC40 is the tiller that Woods recommends for sub-cuts. He was right on target. In the short time I have used it the GTC40 has pulled out softball size rocks with ease and even a 3 or 4 ft piece of rebar. No problems at all. It's a tough tiller. Use your $100 coupon on this tiller. I paid $1250 for mine.

Here is a link to a few pictures of my tractor and the GTC40:

No offence but how do you know this? There's no rocks to speak of in your photos.... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Seriously, don't mean to offend.

The tiller pulled them up and he got rid of them! Of course.

Speaking of Woods Tillers, I have the GTC52, and it's a great tiller. Also, these tillers can be moved left or right with a simple loosening of a few bolts and sliding the tiller over. I don't remember exactly what the offset can be, haven't needed to use it yet.

You did mean to offend. You called me a liar. The photo is the first tilling job I did with this tiller not my only tilling job with this tiller.

The white pipe holds the documentation and is a handy place to keep tools and stuff. I have a Woods GBC48 box blade for my BX23 and they have the same sort of thing on that.

How far does the GTC40 offset? I know the 40" isn't enough to cover the tracks on the BX - which to me isn't that big of a deal - but I was just curious as to how far you can move it. I was also wondering if the lower 3pt mounts on the GTC can be removed, the reason I ask this is because I normally have a Speeco Quick Hitch on my 3pt and it looks like I would have to fabricate some new lower mounts to have the tiller work with the quick hitch. The opening in the Woods lower mounts doesn't look wide enough to fit into the lower mount points on the quick hitch.
