As part of building a new garage and garden area we are also putting in some additional fencing and the lovely Mrs_Bob is in charge of the string trimmer and commented just this morning that the trimming job keeps growing. Now being the guy that I am, I point out we don't have any more land so I don't understand how her trimming tasks could have increased . . . but that got me close to a frying pan upside the head, so I thought I might surprise her with a new implement to cheer her up. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Has anyone tried the Swisher Postmaster pull behind trimmer? Or is anyone aware of any other similar products that can be pulled behind a garden tractor? Or a PTO powered version to mount on the 3pt hitch?

I'm not thrilled about having another gas engine to maintain, but it sure seems like it would be a time saver if the Swisher Postmaster works.

when I had my back surger I actually attached a bicycle training wheel to my regular string trimme to make it easier on my back. That trimmer is long gone but I am seriously thinking about doing it to the one I have now. Sure saves strain on the back.

My son has 1 that he has used 1 season and it is about 2-3 yrs old. It does a fine job under electric fences. He no longer needs it and probably would be interested in sellin it? We pulled it with the ATV and the CUT. The tractor handles it a lot better.--Ken Sweet

Ken, right now NorthenTool has them on sale for $529 plus shipping. Any idea if your son would sell his and what he would want for it? I might consider one that is used.
