I was thinking of getting an ATI grapple attachment (GK-6078, I think) for my HD FEL bucket. Anyone use one? Anyone know what they cost? I'll have to have an additional hydraulic outlet added too. I saw some other grapples posted here but the price tag seems high. Thought it would be easier and more cost effective to just add an attachment to my FEL. I had some of my acreage timbered and I will be using the grapple to help clean up. It's a mess.

Hve you looked on Ebay, here is 1 I have been looking @ The Thumb and here
also, Pineridge has an awesome step by step to building one TC40 Pictures along with lots of other stuff....

I also called my Dealer, he was going to check to see if he could get ATI, that was 3-4 weeks ago

Hope this helps, I have been shopping and looking for a while.

Got a price from the dealer on the ATI single grapple (GK-4866). Grapple ($1,100), extra hydraulic outlet ($600) and installation for a total of $1,700.

Here it is: ATI GK4866 grapple

Any opinions on this grapple or the price?

I have the ATI 4866 grapple on my L3130. I like it and use it often for picking up cut brush. A minor complaint - I would like it to open up more. I paid about $900 for the grapple with installation plus the cost of the remote valve when I bought the tractor.

Mine is installed on the 66"HD bucket. The data sheet says that it is for 66" and smaller buckets but looking at how it is put together I see no reason it won't fit on a 72".

Be sure and get a toothbar for your bucket and have it installed so the it meets the teeth.

Don't own an ATI but originally that's what we wanted to purchase. I like the shape of the lift arms as they would lend well to picking up brush or even downed trees for that matter.

There was a problem with the manufacturer communicating with the local dealer so we finally opted to make our own.

I do still however think the ATI is a fine looking grapple.

Rob I have an ATI grapple like the one in the picture you posted. I have it on a Mahindra 2810 with a 60" bucket. I installed it myself with no problem. I paid 700.00 for mind from a New Orleans area dealer. I have used it for clearing downed logs and brush. It works really sweet. I did have my dealer install a power beond valve to a bracket that I made and installed before I brought the tractor to him.
This grapple will clamp down and hold on to logs that the FEL can not pick up because of their weight.
Good luck on your choice. ATI seems to well worth the money.
